Every solar system installed by AZ Sun Services includes major equipment and services covered by multiple manufacturers’ warranties and AZ Sun Services. Warranty documents will be provided to you on installation day, and your Sales Advisor can provide information in advance of any purchase decision.
- Solar panels, the most significant cost system components, are covered by a 20 to 25-year warranty and a 20 to 25-year energy production guarantee, depending on the manufacturer selected for your plan. This warranty provided by the manufacturer covers the repair or replacement of equipment, and pays AZ Sun Services for any labor required.
- Solar inverter, a significant cost system component, is covered by a 12-year warranty, plus AZ Sun Services extends that inverter warranty from a 12-year to a 25-year warranty, by purchasing the extended warranty on the homeowner’s behalf. There is no additional cost to you, the homeowner. This warranty provided by the manufacturer covers the repair or replacement of equipment, and pays AZ Sun Services for any labor required.
- Installation labor, another significant cost system component, is covered by a 20-year AZ Sun Services warranty, one of the longest, if not the longest, in Arizona. This is an exceptional labor warranty, considering Arizona requires installers to provide only a 2-year warranty, and most other installers provide only a 10-year warranty.
In addition, to give you peace of mind that your system is producing the electricity promised, AZ Sun Services provides its system buyers a three-year system electricity output guarantee. This guarantees the system installed will produce the electricity output AZ Sun quoted, subject to proper use by the system buyer. If it does not, AZ Sun will pay the system buyer 10 cents per watt times the difference between the quoted electricity output and the actual electricity output until such time the system is corrected to produce the quoted electricity output. To ensure guarantee is not voided, system buyer usage terms and conditions are detailed in buyer purchase contract or related electricity output guarantee document provided by AZ Sun Services.
There were zero issues with installation or passing inspection!
Before going solar we had done a TON of research. We received quotes from many different companies in the valley for many different sized systems, and ultimately decided to go with AZ Sun Services. We opted for the largest system we could possibly get (14.4 kw), along with the panel upgrade and extended warranty, and no one else could beat their pricing. I had another company trying very hard to poach our business, but after showing them the pricing we were getting, the competitor agreed that we were getting a really good deal. The system took a few months to become operational, but there were zero issues with installation or passing inspection! In order to install the new service panel, which was larger than our old one, they had to cut out a decorative archway that was made out of stucco in order to make the new panel fit. They took care of all wall/stucco repair associated with it, and it looks great! Our sales rep, Nathan, has always been reachable at all hours, including giving us his personal cell number. We ended up financing the system through Dividend, and have had a pleasant experience with them as well. With that being said, if you’re in the market for a solar system, I highly suggest getting the largest system you can get and contacting AZ Sun Services for a quote.
